High-frequency ultrasound cavitation for body contouring and fat liquefying
- Targeted Fat Reduction
- Body Shaping
- Skin Tightening
- Exceptional results
- No downtime, no needles, no pain
- The intelligent alternative to liposuction and other aesthetic devices for body contouring
- Total treatment time 45 minutes (15 minutes ILIPO LASER AND 30 MINUTES OF ULTRASOUND CAVITATION)
Cavitation is a 100% outpatient procedure. Ultrasound Cavitation is a relatively new aesthetic treatment using cutting edge technology. It converts fat cells into liquids that are drained by the body’s own natural filtration system. A single body part treatment lasts 20–30 minutes. 48-72 hours must pass between each session for the body to eliminate the fat. Generally, most clients start to see a difference in 3 treatments. It’s highly recommended to do more.
Ultrasound cavitation causes emulsification of fat, converting it into a substance that is eliminated through the urinary and lymphatic systems.
Before & After Pictures
Nationally Recognized Ultrasound Cavitation Technology has appeared on shows like “The Doctors” and “Dr. OZ” demonstrating targeting fat reduction with skin tightening in as little as 30 minutes without pain, needles or downtime. UltraSound Cavitation plus i-Lipo laser technologies stimulate the fat cell through the power of ultrasound by vibrating them causing an implosion breaking down the fat and cell allowing the body to move the fat naturally out of the body as a waste product causing a contouring effect leaving you to lose inches in the targeted area. Because the fat cell is metabolized in the process this is a permanent treatment unlike lasers and completely painless. It is the closest you can get to surgery with an all-natural process. This is a very successful procedure and we’ve treated over 3000 patients.
- This powerful combination allows for even the most stubborn fatty deposits while enhancing lymphatic drainage.
- Permanent results unlike many competitive aesthetic devices on the market today.
- Works on the body and the face for the ultimate shaping and natural facelift (the face requires specialization).
- Properly trained staff is extremely helpful and works with the clients’ comfort zone.
The Power of Ultrasonic Waves
- Completely Painless
- No Down Time
- No needles, no chemicals, all natural – The Answer to Liposuction
Ultrasound Cavitation is a non-surgical, natural phenomenon based on low-frequency ultrasound. The ultrasound field when applied to the targeted area creates bubbles in the liquid that surrounds fat cells, which gradually grow and implode. Membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations so the effect of cavitation easily breaks them while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.
Ultrasound Cavitation causes emulsification of the solid fat substances, releasing the triglyceride fluid, which is easy to eliminate through the lymphatic system.
After disruption and emulsification of fat cells, liquid which makes up the fat cells, in the form of triglycerides, is released into the fluid between the cells. This fluid is then metabolized. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as an energy source, whereas the insoluble, free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food.
The stimulation of the unit helps pump and move your own lymphatic system allowing your body to process this fat substance out. Over the course of 3-4 days, your body starts to lose unwanted stubborn fat and you lose inches in the area that was targeted. Generally, most clients start to see a difference in 3 treatments. It’s highly recommended to do more. It’s highly recommended to get 9-12 treatments.
This is the only high powered ultrasonic unit when we combined it with ILIPO laser it allows us to not only do lymphatic drainage but skin tightening, toning and firming. This dual approach allows us to get superior results.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Cavitation is a natural phenomenon based on low-frequency ultrasound. The ultrasound field creates bubbles in the liquid that surround the fat cells, which gradually grow, and implode. As the membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations, the effect of cavitation easily breaks them while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.
What happens to the released fat?
After disruption and emulsification of the fat cells, liquid which makes up the fat cells, in the form of triglycerides, is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells. This fluid is then metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food. The fat is a solid substance, how can it be eliminated through the urine? Because ultrasonic cavitation causes emulsification of the fat, releasing the triglyceride fluid which is easy to eliminate through the urine and the lymphatic system.
Is Ultrasonic Cavitation a safe treatment?
It is a nonsurgical procedure without anesthesia, it is non-invasive (no cutting, leaves no scars or need post-operative course) and it allows for a full social life both before and after the sessions. This procedure is totally safe.
How long has Ultrasonic Cavitation been around?
Cavitation in aesthetics was introduced for the first time in Milan in 2005. However, the phenomenon called cavitation has been around since the 60s. Is Ultrasonic Cavitation painful? No, cavitation is a painless treatment. Mild redness may appear occasionally but does not cause pain. The patient experiences a very low heat caused by the use of the equipment which is perfectly tolerable.
Can these treatments be performed on male and females?
Yes, of course. Which are the areas where treatment is more effective? All those areas with localized fat: thighs, abdomen, and buttocks are the most appropriate but there is no real limitation as to areas of the body although we cannot treat the female breast.
Is it possible to lose weight with Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Ultrasonic cavitation is NOT a method to lose weight but rather to shape the body. IT IS NOT FOR HIGHLY OBESE INDIVIDUALS. The treatment is used to reduce stubborn fatty pockets that just won’t go away with diet and exercise. Are the results of Ultrasonic Cavitation similar to those of liposuction? Yes, because it destroys fat cells without damaging any vascular, nervous and muscular tissue. It is a completely natural process of allowing the body to break down its own fat. This is not surgery thus the outcome is different for all individuals.
Must you follow any guidelines before or after undergoing Ultrasonic Cavitation?
In order to achieve the best results, it’s recommended that the patient follows a low-calorie diet and to drinks at least 2 liters of water before and after the session. In order to get optimum results, it’s highly recommended to exercise the day of the treatment.
How many sessions are usually needed?
Generally, most clients start to see a difference in 3 treatments. It’s highly recommended to do more. Between 3, 6, 9 or 12 sessions are recommended. It’s highly recommended to do 9-12 treatments followed by our recommended protocol.
Does it work on cellulite?
Yes, in most cases this is low-frequency ultrasound cavitation which generally works on cellulite by focusing on “cavitation effect” on the fat tissue while causing the skin to tighten. Cellulite is a very individualized problem and 70% of the clients get good results.
Will there be scarring?
The risk of scarring is very small when your clinic is properly trained with both the ultrasound and I-LIPO treatments. Make sure to let your technician know your level of comfort to protect your skin.
What are the typical effects that occur short term?
Some patients may experience skin redness, temporary swelling of the treated area and temporary numbness of the area. Properly trained staff is extremely helpful and works with the clients’ comfort zone.

By what other names is Ultrasonic Cavitation referred?
Ultrasound Cavitation; Cavitation; Ultra Cavitation; Body Contouring; Body Sculpting.
What long-term results can I expect with ultrasonic cavitation?
You can achieve “volume reduction” of fatty tissues and “toning of the body.” The results are gradual over a number of weeks as your body clears the broken-down fatty tissues. It is not uncommon to achieve up to 10 cm. reduction by the end of the treatment course. The results can be long-lasting provided you follow a healthy diet and exercise program. However, it is very easy to deposit fat again into the tissues if one overeats, consumes too much alcohol, or doesn’t exercise. Ultimately the result may vary depending on the individual’s tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medication, and changes in hormones.
What are the potential side-effects?
While side effects are rarely reported, they occur occasionally, and usually, involve a slight redness or irritation of the skin that resolves within a few hours. There is also a potential to feel an increase in energy since the body will naturally attempt to use some of the energy reserves released from the fat. Independent studies have shown a decrease in cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which seem to be further enhanced with the addition of dietary supplements. Here are some side effects that I have observed from working with ultrasonic cavitation in my spa:
- Increased thirst (which makes the requirement for increased water consumption much easier!)
- A slight headache beginning a few hours after treatment (presumably due to the release of toxins from the fat cells)
- Decreased appetite & decreased capacity for over-eating (presumably due to toning/tightening effect on the stomach)
- Fewer physical aches & pains (presumably due to weight loss resulting in less strain on the body)
- Improved moods and a renewed interest in wearing attractive clothes!
How is the treatment done and how long is the treatment?
We start with 15 minutes of iLipo or Illumiwave fat liquefying laser which is then followed by 30 minutes of Ultrasound Cavitation. Total treatment time is 45 minutes. It is highly recommended to exercise, drink enough water and follow a recommended diet for optimum results.
