Both FDA-approved and non-invasive treatments provide real and natural results.

A combination of SculpSure and Ultherapy is not for everyone, and each treatment is not for everyone, and here’s why: they both perform independent functions, target the skin, muscle and fat differently, AND each person is different and requires their own unique needs and results. Let’s break down and simplify these fat reduction treatments so you know what works best for you.

How does SculpSure work and what does it work best for?

Sculpsure, also known as laser fat-melting, is FDA-approved, which means Cynosure, the manufacturers of SculpSure, worked with the FDA through extensive clinical trials to ensure the treatments meet rigorous scientific and safety standards.

SculpSure, a body sculpting technology directly targets fat cells in 25-minute sessions (an amazing on-the-go treatment!). You can expect to see results and fat melt away between 1-3 treatments, depending on the targeted area.

SculpSure works best when targeting fat specifically under the skin. The non-invasive warm-sculpting uses a light-based device that elevates adipose tissue (aka fat tissue) temperature between 107-117 degrees Fahrenheit, however, the machine keeps the skin’s surface cool while it detects the fat underneath which provides a more comfortable experience for the patient.

SculpSure also has an added bonus: it is able to tighten and firm the treatment area, which is a plus for addressing stubborn face and body fat that won’t budge – no matter what lifestyle, healthy diet, and/or exercise plan. SculpSure results are permanent – based on lifestyle, and maintenance options are available. Results can also be observed at as early as 6 weeks (12 weeks for optimal results) following the treatment as the eliminated fat cells get flushed out by your body’s lymphatic system. SculpSure is a safe treatment for most people and does require a consultation prior to treatment to customize a plan.

What areas of the body does SculpSure fat-melting treat best?

  • Chin, jawline
  • Side of the knees, inner and outer thighs
  • Abdomen, Back and Bra areas
  • Arms

Now…How does Ultherapy work and what does it work best for?

Ultherapy is an FDA-approved, state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, that provides a complete facelift without downtime or incisions. Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to deliver effective collagen-boosting treatment. It also incorporates traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring the treatment energy is delivered to where it will be most beneficial and custom to each individual.

Ultherapy works BEST for muscle and collagen improvement but it does NOT target the texture of the skin (scarring, etc.) A medical practitioner and certified patient coordinator are able to identify which treatment works best by palpating the areas under the skin to determine if it’s muscle or fat that needs to be targeted and treated.

Ultherapy targets and treats these areas best:

  • Lifting and tightening of the cheeks
  • Droopiness in the brow
  • Jowls, a double chin, loose under-neck
  • Skin tightening for the decolletage/chest

Though results are not immediate after one primary treatment of Ultherapy, changes do appear over a 1-3 months span. This treatment completely reinvigorates and transforms collagen and the muscles in your face, neck, and chest.

While Ultherapy is safe and effective for most people, a consultation with an aesthetic medical practitioner is a must to ensure if the treatment is best for you.
